This is THE classic movie I want to see.
"Oh George, we have the sun and the moon! Let's not ask for the stars too!"
That may not be exactly right, it's from a synopsis I read a long time ago.
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller

It was something like "Oh, Jerry, don't let's ask for the moon when we have the stars."
Or something like that, I don't think the sun was involved. You might be thinking of the song I've Got the Sun in the Morning and the Moon at Night (TRIVIA ALERT: Soleil Moon Frye was named for that song).
I saw this movie when I was a kid and really liked it, but I'm not sure that I would now. Back then I enjoyed pretending I was sick and then staying home and watching black and white tearjerkers on Dialing for Dollars in the afternoon.....
Don't forget to look away during the cigarette scene!
Exeunt Regina......

We had Dialing for Dollars movies in the afternoon too! I saw only one person win the $100. That's where I saw the first DOA with Edmond O'Brien and other classics. There were even a couple of Tyrone Power movies. He was amazing.
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely look away during the cigarette scene!
