We were on the same lanes we bowled on the night I shot the 96 (and for the first time since then)... and it wasn't just me. Everyone on both teams bowled like crap....

Ask for a different lane next week. You have proved you can do better!

I probably shouldn't be chiming in here, since LB's league situation may be completely different from the one here

Here, the league schedules and lane assignments are all set by the date that league bowling commences. You can pick a date anywhere in the year and know which team you're bowling against and which pair of lanes you'll be on.

LB will let me know if I'm off track.

That is prolly all true for LB. Just trying to think of something to be helpful. Nothing else came to mind at the time.

Yep....

I don't have an advance copy of the schedule, but I know for some reason we haven't bowled on that pair very often, and we only have 6 pairs of lanes since there are 12 teams. With 2 months left in the season, I'm sure I end up there at least one more time.....

Thanks for pointing that out before I figured out my average wrong again next week. That's about the third time I've forgot to put down the new total.....

Yes, I will be bowling on Wednesday next week since its an awful long drive to my bowling alley from Oklahoma....

She did, and I use a spreadsheet for the rankings. I still score LS using my handy dandy notebooks and Ticonderogas.....

For Beast's Log, I use good old fashioned cut and paste, and add in the new scores. I always add the new total when figuring out my new average, but often forget to change it in the post.....

I just converted Beast's Log into a spreadsheet. It took all of 5 minutes. Unfortunately, it exposed another error that even Bob### missed. Your copy & paste method also failed you for your February 11 scores. Your total is copied down from February 4th, and thus, is overstated by 10, meaning your calculated total of 11,021 is also overstated by 10.

If you want the spreadsheet, PM me an e-mail address to use and I'll send it as an attachment.

Right. The series that week was 433, not 443. So beast needs a 509 to raise his average to 160. --Bob

Well, crap! That's an error that can be blamed on whoever was handling the official scoresheet that night. When I bowl like crap, I typically don't bother to run through the addition in my head, so I just go by whatever they wrote down as my series on the sheet. I was oddly happy to have repeated last week's series that week, and now I find out that didn't even happen.....

Well, a good day at least....

I had no idea they had a seniors league on Wednesday afternoons. When I saw the parking lot, I was afraid I wouldn't get a pair of lanes.....
