Peter Pistecola
General Contractor
Peter will have a chance to answer the $250K question that Jon would have been given.
Who once endorsed an apple drink in Japan because his name sounds like the Japanese word for "apple"?
A - Ringo Starr
B - Maury Povich
C - Yogi Berra
D - Joe Pesci
Peter isn't sure so he goes with
B
.
A (Ringo Starr)

Had this been in Jon's stack I'd have used my last lifeline (ATA) and walked away unless there was an overwhelming audience response.

Well, shucks. I definitely thought it'd be C here. I know that Japanese uses a lot of short, open syllables (starting with consonants and ending with vowels). Therefore, I eliminated B and D right away, and A thereafter due to the "NG" blend in "Ringo". I guess my logic doesn't always work, though. A nice comeback from Peter, despite his wrong answer at $100K.
