Alfred risked $32,600 on the $100K question, which he didn't know cold but felt confident enough in reasoning to go for it.

His payoff for not walking at that point was ending up with an additional $192,400!

I would be hooting like he was, too. Nice job with all lifelines gone fairly early.

I would have had no idea, but since I still have two JTQs left, I get to use one and see the $1M question.

Impressive that you wouldn't have needed a jump before this. Unfortunately, the second jump becomes useless at this point. Contestants should be rewarded for getting to the top of the stack with a JTQ: it should turn into a double dip. Two jumps could equal a 50/50. Or even better, an "Ask Watson" lifeline.
