She's not? What grade is she in now?

And do they teach the multiplication tables any more or had that been forbidden, these days?
They start with the tables in third grade here. Erin got into the flash cards the other day, but it's payback for Mini-me who used to scatter Rain Man's cards. He and his friend who I would watch in the mornings used to go around saying "9 times 9 is 81" when they were in kindergarten and Rain Man was in third grade...

My rankings are going "Down, down, in a burning ring of fire".
I felt the change

Time meant nothing and never would again

Pish tosh. My posts are not verbose; they are typographically enhanced.

I feel like I'm being tailgated on the freeway, 2 of the 3 BB below me just moved up. I'm just not yakking enough.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Maybe you can distract them with your new bumper sticker....

Thanks for the chuckle.

Beast the slacker continues to refuse to address this issue. I mean, counting a one line post (or one word post) the same as an erudite lecture from Wintergreen? Puhleeze! :P

I had to look up pithy.

I am both pithy and direct.

Some people hate that.

I want to be verbose and a fast talker. :P

Seriously, does anybody remember the last time I wrote more than three paragraphs in a post?

Can't answer that - just know you talk like it is.

It is not a race for me.

It is all a conversation for me.

I have things to say, quips to barb and fun to have.
