Our audit is over...Yeaaa
Our State Department of Education has been here the last three days conducting an audit triggered by our Disproportionality of Identification numbers as a district. All students who get referred for a comprehensive evaluation to determine if they qualify for services go thru a process looked over by a committee I am chairman of. Naturally, all of the chairpersons at the different schools were a little apprehensive about how our interviews might go. As it turns out, they got all the information and answers they needed at the district level. That was a good thing from our point of view.
