Rumor: Mitt might quit

#1 Post by NellyLunatic1980 » Thu Feb 07, 2008 11:30 am

Mark Halperin of "Time" reports that Willard Mitt Romney might announce later today that he will suspend his campaign (read: drop out of the race). Bad news for comedian Rush Limbaugh, succubus Ann Coulter, and the rest of the right-wing talking heads who are pushing for Romney and threatening not to vote for McCain.

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

Idly speculating...do the right-wing republicans fall in lock-step with McCain, or throw their weight behind Huckabee? Does Huckabee withdraw now, take a pat on the head and wait to see if the RWR accept him as VP nominee, or fight on, hopefully grabbing the RWR banner?
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

If, mind you, I said, if, Romney quits, Huckabee has nothing to lose by staying in until McCain calls him and offers the VP slot. And then, he waits a few days and accepts.

The more votes Hucakbee gets, the more clout he gets with the party.
I am about 25% sure of this.

This RWR is struggling to with his choices.

Do I want to get shot in the arm or the leg. Hmmm..., tough question.

Of course the LWD must choose getting shot through the heart or the head.

Not a lot of good choices out there for any of us.

It's no rumor - Romney has suspended his campaign.
