Oops I only noticed your answer for the breed, which was first and correct.
Still no solution to the BB who is not VADame.
The dog's name is Mackey and the girl is the BB's niece Amy Elizabeth; this might not be a great hint as I do not remember this BB talking a lot about her.

Yay! Solved. I have a handful of others for her but they have her pictured in the avatar, which would give it away (the ones with the numbers and the height measurement).
