1. Please, don`t ever let me be
I only wanna be by your side
Please, don`t ever let me be
I only wanna be by your side
You Really Got Me - The Kinks or Van Halen (I'm not sure the Kinks version actually contains these exact lyrics, but I accepted it anyway....)

2. Full moon in the city and the night was young
I was hungry for love, I was hungry for fun
I was hunting you down, and I was the bait
When I saw you there, I didn't need to hesitate
Touch Me - Samantha Fox (Only two of my LSWE players remember Samantha Fox!?!?!? Or at least can recognize one of her most popular songs.... )

3. Emotions come, I don't know why
Cover up love's alibi
Call Me - Blondie (One Night in Bangkok may get all the love, but I think this one shows up in every LS contest at some point as well...)

4. I get frightened in all this darkness
I get nightmares I hate to sleep alone
I need some company a guardian angel
To keep me warm when the cold winds blow
Take Me Home Tonight - Eddie Money

5. This whole world is out there just trying to score
I've seen enough I don't want to see any more
Cover Me - Bruce Springsteen

6. Well since she put me down I 've been out doin' in my head
I come in late at night and in the mornin' I just lay in bed
Help Me Rhonda - Beach Boys (If I ever do a Chris Berman game, and no it won't be this year, the name to remember when I use this song is Joe Randa....)

7. there's nobody in the future
so baby let me hand you my love
oh, there's no step for you to dance to
so slip your hand inside of my glove
Hold Me - Fleetwood Mac

8. I'll never forget the day
We motored stately into big L.A.
The lights of the city put settlin'
Down in my brain
Me and You and a Dog Named Boo - Lobo

9. You waited this long to stop debating,
Cause I`m back, I`m on the rag and ovulating,
I know you got a job Ms. Cheney
But your husbands heart problem is complicating
Without Me - Eminem (Would you believe this song was one of my first Wierd Al parodies on the Bored? I love this song, and I can't stand listening to anything else by Marshall Mathers....)

10. Well, I know he`s not old
And I`m told he`s a virgin
For he may be she
But what I`m told
Is never, never for certain
Take Me To The Pilot - Elton John

11. You're a real tough cookie with a long history
Of breaking little hearts like the one in me
Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar

12. Talk about the love you're missin'
Maybe then it's true when they say love is blind
I can help you if you listen
I can make you feel good if you just let my try
The Lover in Me - Sheena Easton (A great, forgotten hit from the latter part of her 80's career....)

5 Point Bonus: What Annie Bonus eligible song was the biggest hit (Reaching #3) for the artist of Song #2? - Naughty Girls Need Love Too (And yes, I did plan on awarding the extra point for using Squirrels since I did say it was Annie Bonus eligible. Congrats on a 6 point bonus Fishie and Fly....)

Don't worry, Sprotsie Baby! I'll take care of it when we meet up next month! Just keep track of how many points LB owes you and whisper it in my ear.....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Ah, but as a former radio personality, I am always careful to enunciate properly.

Of course, had I ever run into Ms. Fox in her heyday, enunciation would have been the last thing on my mind. I'd have been Ralph Kramden ("humina humina humina..")

BTW, ES looks so cheerful and efficient stocking those shelves. How Sprots can continue to resist his charms is beyond me, but alas, to each his own...

"Cheerful and efficient", that's the perfect combination! I love this avatar so much (and not just because he's tending to my EP needs....), it makes me happy every time I see it. ES is so content in his work and the inner knowledge that he fills an important need.

And that is the secret to inner peace.....
