Sorry, Sam, you were never a fave....honourable mention maybe, but definitely not top 5 material.

PS OMG, did I ever tell you about the intercrural story, or is it just a crazy coincidence that you just casually whipped that out? Since how many people even know what that means in the first place...... (I'm sure those odds will have increased considerably in the next 24 hours.....ha!)

That was part of our Dead Poets Society chat last New Years Eve. I've just been waiting for the chance to whip that word back out on ya......

I have no recollection whatsoever of that. Perhaps the Wiki spike will be followed by the chat spike (joke will be on them since I'm not there that often anymore).....

#3: "Annie"

Debuted: 8/5/10

While I do take on serious topics with my ES avatars, I always try to spin them with that unique twisted humor and cuteness that ES is well known for. This avatar was a necessary exception to that rule. ES drew this heart wrenching avatar to honor one of his true friends and inspirations upon her final homecoming before meeting her old friends over the Rainbow Bridge. Though ES's relationship with Annie was often misconstrued due to ES's constant harassment of her and Annie's inevitable stern lectures toward the incorrigible rodent..... it was merely a front for one of the animal kingdom's most unique friendships.....

It was an absolutely agonizing decision for me to decide where to place this avatar in the countdown, or even if I should since it was clearly a unique avatar. The drawing says more than maybe anything else that has ever appeared under my name here, and clearly had a powerful affect on many who viewed it.... but at the same time, given the magnitude of the event behind it, it very clearly trumps every other avatar I ever drew or could have drawn in terms of its significance.... which is kind of unfair to the happier avatars this countdown was made to celebrate. There was no way it could not be included though, thus why I gave it a high ranking, while still allowing for the best of ES's standard fare to take the top couple spots......

It must be the computers. The same thing happened when I looked at it.

Thank you for including this one, Beast. I didn't dare hope it would be on the final list, but without question, it has been the most meaningful avatar of all for me.

Same here. This one, and the one of ES and Lizbit and the rainbow both cause the blurry screen reaction.

I still really have no recollection of this specifically (maybe I quote 17th century poets so often that it all blurs together.....ha!), but I'm glad it reminded me of last year's fantabulous LSWE rules. You've got quite a task to make this year's rules impress after that.....

Don't worry if it doesn't happen.... LSWE points are fully transferable between Fannies..... but only because you have Most Favored Player status....

#2: "Saucy Tossoff"

Debuted: 6/25/10

Image

Saucy a bit part in one of the movie parodies for elwood's LS game... in Sir Alan Parker's remake of "Fame". After Fanny mentioned Saucy Tossoff was the best promo name ever, Saucy made the observation that it was in fact a porn name. She made the mistake of doing that on a Wednesday night, though.... as ES was still lurking with his wicked and yes perverted imagination. Enter this avatar featuring Saucy Tossoff the dominatrix, doing her best to punish ES the bad boy. Not only was the concept of the avatar hilarious, clever, and risque.... but the perspective in which you only see the back of ES's head with his arms handcuffed to the bedposts and his two feet sticking out on the bed.... well, I'm still damn proud of myself for pulling that off well. I only fear what punishment Ms. Tossoff may have in store for me for not making her #1......

I love Saucy Tossoff, as I mentioned earlier it's in my personal Top 10. I'm surprised that this is #2 but, in retrospect, it would be even weirder for it not the make the countdown or also rans at all!

Which means that my clearcut #1 didn't even make the countdown or also rans. Because I can't believe anything will be #1 other than what I am now SURE is #1 (I PMed to lb but put a spoiler in case he didn't want to know yet) because there is NO way it's not making it at all......
