Jeff and I spent the day working on the yard. I was too tired to post.
It's raining today, so I guess yesterday was a good day to work.
Maddie was coaching one of her friends, Leah, who was competing in the Miss Outstanding Teen Placentia pageant, on the interview portion of the competition. Yesterday, Maddie went to the competition with a group of friends, to root for Leah. Leah ended up being First Runner Up.
Apparently nobody talked about "The Iraq" at the competition.

I still had a house full of people, including three two year olds and three chain smokers. They were required to smoke outdoors, but that doesn't keep the smoke smell from their clothing and hair. They left at 8:30 last night, and I swear it felt like midnight. I was ready to run away from home.
I was planning on a "small, family only" Super Bowl get together that is now up to 17 people. I hope to officially collapse tomorrow. So posting will be very limited until tomorrow for sure.
Hope it's a good game and not too one-sided.

Oh, I'm supposed to come amuse you on schedule now that I'M FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????
Yes, today was a momentous day. My husband missed it--he got last-minute tickets and took Mini-me to Phoenix yesterday to watch the Giants upset the Patriots today.
Evidently a bunch of Packer and Cowboy fans bailed on their reservations, so hotel and rental-car prices went back to normal at the last minute, and ticket sales dropped dramatically, so it fell into doable range.
BTW, I have pneumonia, but I'm getting better. But don't expect me to jump to do your bidding just because I can walk upright for the first time in two weeks!
