We are very consistent, aren't we? I was a bit worried about myself this week. I had a killer day today. Painter doing my upstairs, helped Natalie move into her new house (my God the clothes that girl has), traded cars, every guest room upstairs is full of guests and I have to have Natalie at her old condo at 6:45 in the morning to meet the guys that are moving the furniture to her new house.

It's pouring rain and has been for the past two hours. We haven't had rain like this in months, so we sure need it. They say the sun will come out tomorrow (now I'll be singing that all night)...and I sure hope so.
I'm exhausted!

So, that's basically why I haven't posted today.

Oops, almost forgot about my standing Thursday nail appointment and I did do grocery shopping somewhere in between something.

138. 138. 138.

OK lb, I'm gonna ask:

I've been holding down the #138 spot for like TWENTY-SEVEN YEARS. I know I don't post THAT much but some of the names above me haven't been around since PT BAM. How far to I have to go to move up a point?

You are stuck in a no-man's land of inactive posters (Only OntEllen still posts actively within 200 posts either way of you), so it's no wonder you've been stuck in the same place for so long....

To answer your question (in my usual TWR cryptic way), you can count the number of posts you need to pass southnyack on one hand...

So Beast....be straight with me. I've been in the Top 50 for about five minutes short of forever, but I have a feeling that the end is near. How long do I have?

I was hoping my arbitration would end so that I could get back to posting a little more regularly. Unfortunately, it looks like we'll need another five days and won't be over until about the end of February. So I hope I'm not caught from behind before then.

It has been absolutely crazy lately. I set a personal record for billable hours in a month. My usual benchmark for a crazy period is when I bill 100 hours in 10 consecutive calendar days. I just finished billing 100 hours in 9 days. I think there were at least four consecutive overlapping 10-day periods in which I billed 100 hours. --Bob

lb - I know you don't like to reveal actual numbers, but do I have a chance at double digit ranking during my lifetime??

With Kay on your tail, your Top 50 run will end very, very soon....

I believe I predicted a couple years ago (when you first asked) that PSM (back when she was still in the 60's) would be the one who knocked you from the Top 50. I was close... as she was the one that knocked you down to #50. Of course, I didn't figure back then that (1) you would have a post spurt due to this new Bored, and (2) that RJS would not post on the Bored for over a year and a half....

Someone is going to eventually have to replace all the dead weight in the bottom part of the Top 100, so you should eventually get there (Without digging up my list, I believe you are currently some 350-400 posts outside the Top 100). Of course, you do have a LOT of contenders for those spots, including the hard charging Nelly and fantine....

I guess I'd better get myself in gear and start posting! Tough to do during the day, since once the little darlings hit my room I'm kinda busy.

If FNGD becomes a regular occurence again, my numbers can climb pretty fast. We do tend to run on, dont'cha know.

*waves hi to the folks on the top floor*

I suspect I've got a kabillion posts to go to at least make the top 200, but then again, I'm determined and stuff.

Take the charge!

I am no longer a contender (if I ever was). For some unknown reason, there was a hot minute a month or so ago when, for the first time ever, I cared about this. But I got over it, so I'm back to my calm, zen self.

Awww, that's too bad. It would've been really cool to have both of the Nuggets fans of the Bored in the Hot 100.
