Giuliani to drop out--endorse McCain
Man, they really all DO hate Romney, don't they?

I would have liked him to have endorsed Mike Huckabee, but I knew that was a long shot.
I believe that people who are writing off Huckabee will be surprised come Super Tuesday. He will be strong in the South. Then, he can hold on until Texas. If he is still in the mix after that, we are pretty much guaranteed a contested Republican Convention. The only way this avoid that outcome now is for Romney to decide to stop spending his grandkids' inheritance.

There was an article on the cover of the newspaper locally about Huckabee profiting off a book about a school shooting.

That would be one way to spin it. Another would be that he used the terrible occasion of the shooting in his state as a natural starting point to write about about our society and the culture in which we raise kids who commit these acts.

Never has a candidate fallen so far so fast in American political history.
Rudy ran a campaign straight out of the 1968 playbook, where you could bide your time and see how the early states went before entering the fray. Unfortunately for him, his strategy was a mere forty years out of date.
Ron Paul is probably sorry to see Rudy leave though. Rudy was the only candidate Paul could beat on a consistent basis.

Funny, as I kept saying "How can they not hate Romney." He got far more votes than I thought he would.Buffacuse wrote:Man, they really all DO hate Romney, don't they?

Lots of Massachusetts retirees in Florida. Voted for the state rather than the person who "ran" it.peacock2121 wrote:Funny, as I kept saying "How can they not hate Romney." He got far more votes than I thought he would.Buffacuse wrote:Man, they really all DO hate Romney, don't they?
