We have a new puppy
His name is Smoky. He is a German Shepherd. He lives at his Gramma and Grampa's-My kids are over there a lot anyway. They currently have 14 YO Grizzly-a Shepherd/Malamute mix.
We are Shepherd people-but I currently have 2 black labs (( YO twins-Remington and Winchester that I found on the road) Lori knows which one is which-but I have neve been able to tell.
I wanted to name the new one "Smoke" but settled for "Smoky.
We have had him abot 10 days.
Me and the pup walked down and met the Spocklette when she got off the bus yesterday. She was very happy to be met by the pup.

I've got a good deal for you. Sight unseen, I'll trade you Smoky for a nice brown birddog puppy who already has graduated from two -- count 'em, two! -- obedience courses. You also could take this one hunting with you, especially if you need anybody to point to Evil Squirrels.
I confess that this puppy may have a slight learning disability, as she still cannot read, but I'm sure her good qualities make up for her academic challenges. Your kids will love her, and she is an excellent eater.
Let me know. I can ask my mom to drive her to your house.

Re: We have a new puppy
Yes-She got a fairly large toy horse for Christmas and on Sunday she was doing the bridle and saddle stuff and she said "This is good practice for when I get a real horse."MarleysGh0st wrote:Yeah, but hasn't she been waiting for a horse?Spock wrote: Me and the pup walked down and met the Spocklette when she got off the bus yesterday. Also later on Sunday she and her brothers were dragging sticks into the shop and working on cutting down a tree to build fence posts for her horse fence.
I think a horse might be a foregone conclusion.

One can not trade sisters away.
If one could, I would have been traded many years ago.
