As CFS mentioned, today's game is the halfway marker of the contest, and we still have quite a contest going with the top 3 players neck and neck and mrkelley still within striking distance of getting back in the thick of things. Of course, all hell will break loose once Marley gains 2 more points and finds himself out of the basement....

TBone finally inches back into the lead over fanny, but this one's likely to go back and forth the rest of the way. The question is whether anyone else is going to be able to stick around to challenge them....

TBone's lead is very short-lived, as fanny zooms right back out in front of him, and also puts more distance behind starfish and mrkelley, about the only other players with a shot of getting bck into the race for the final four weeks....

Fanny may not have much confidence in her abilities to win the whole shebang, but she pulls out even farther in front of TBone, while starfish is able to slightyl reel his way back into striking distance, and mrkelley avoids falling more than a game's worth of points out of the lead. And since it looks like VaDame will only play games with vulgar lyrics, Marley is going to have to sandbag if he wants to keep his spot in the basement....

TBone and fanny continue to trade punches in the top two spots, as they are once again separated by only 2 points thanks to a strong showing by the Bone. Starfish continues to lurk in the shadows waiting for an opportunity to jump into the fray while mrkelley continues to hang tough in fourth. Meanwhile, hermillion has all but clinched 10th place in the contest, and has hit the 300 point mark!

We have reached the 2/3 mark of the Winter LS, and things are as tight as ever at the top. Though it's fanny and TBone who continue to trade places in the top two spots, starfish and mrkelley are close enough to make a run at the top spot these last three weeks. The games will get a little tougher and a bit stranger as we wind down my run....

Just 12 points still separates #1 from #4, and that's with fanny's two missing points from Friday's game added in. Rexer is unable to get out of Marley's doghouse, as he can't even leap over Sir G, let alone the spirit of the basement....
