I'm not sick, but I'm taking the rest of the week off.

Waiting on the dishwasher repairman tomorrow. I also have someone coming to do my upstairs walls I've been wanting to do since I moved here.

That requires moving two queen size four poster beds, one triple dresser, two armoires and a chest of drawers. Since it will be two females moving said furniture (me being one of them), I made a trip to Lowes and purchased these. They really work. You can move those four poster beds around like they're light as a feather. I can't believe it. If you like rearranging your furniture, but put off doing it because of the hassle, this is the answer!

They're really not expensive at all.

These things are terrific! elwing bought some so that we could rearrange the furniture in the family room and they worked as advertised, making things much easier to push around.

I bought a set of these years ago to move a monstrous armoir, but never even took them out of the package for whatever reason. They're still in the plastic in my basement. Glad to hear that they really do work!

Be careful moving all of that furniture! Sounds like a good excuse to go out for a massage the next day to me.

They're actually designed to move stuff on carpet. I can turn that four poster bed around in circles. It's amazing. The girl doing my walls can't wait to get to Lowe's and buy some of her own.

There are all kinds and more than likely some that will work on hardwood. You don't want to damage the wood floor, that's for sure.

Those are fantastic! Peaby - they will be stored in the "things that changed my life" category at your house, I promise. They make heavy things simply glide over carpet, and save my hardwood floors.

I think of furnadents as the dents that are there after something has been in it's place for months/years. I can not get those suckers out for quite some time.

Snail trails just show you where furniture was moved around.

OK, you can remove furnidents by putting an ice cube in the "dent". When it melts, go back and "fluff up" the carpet pile and you will never know it was there. It works. Ask Heloise!

I have furnidents that have been there for 4 years!
