We were without Marley and Pea the last time around cuz they had more important personal matters to focus on. Now that they're both back, our posting average is back to normal. We are on our way to reaching the quintuple 3s well before the end of January.
Have fun, everybody.

I could be wrong though.
Actually, that's the repeater gus.
The next sequencial gus will be 123456 (No, 5 digit sequencials are not gusses, except for 12345, which is really 012345). Any early predictions from Nelly or mrkelley on when we reach that mark....?

That's OK, nobody else can remember what the gusses are either.

Glad yinz like him! We finally got some pix of him awake & with his eyes open!
They found a nice apartment & are moving some of their stuff tonight. We'll take the rest tomorrow on our truck. The former landlord isn't giving them any crap about breaking the lease, and he says he'll give their deposit back.
Unfortunately he'll probably paint over the mold & rent the dump to someone else instead of fixing the problem. Johnny's Dad says he'll keep an eye on the place & maybe report it to the Health Department. They found out the tenant downstairs had the mold problem too -- it was in her closet and ruined a bunch of her clothes! I can't imagine why she's still living there unless she really has nowhere else to go. Yuck!

I will say that mold is dangerous - really dangerous.
Glad they got out.
Sad that some other poor people will be stuck living there.

And it's interesting to see how Beeb's "cheeseburger" meme is spreading across the Bored!
Marley, I've been meaning to ask this for a while (not necessarily of you). What's with the meme? I used to just assume it was used like "la meme chose" but the context doesn't always fit. Sometimes it seems like it's used as "it's all about me me me me me me me", but not always. Lots of times, like your usage above, neither of those seem to make sense.
So what's the word? Besides Thunderbird (see, I know hip phrases that other people don't get. It's just that they don't get them because they're at least 40 years out of style. Ha!).

Meme: /meem/ [By analogy with "gene"] Richard Dawkins's term for an idea considered as a replicator, especially with the connotation that memes parasitise people into propagating them much as viruses do.
Memes can be considered the unit of cultural evolution. Ideas can evolve in a way analogous to biological evolution. Some ideas survive better than others; ideas can mutate through, for example, misunderstandings; and two ideas can recombine to produce a new idea involving elements of each parent idea.
The term is used especially in the phrase "meme complex" denoting a group of mutually supporting memes that form an organised belief system, such as a religion. However, "meme" is often misused to mean "meme complex".
Use of the term connotes acceptance of the idea that in humans (and presumably other tool- and language-using sophonts) cultural evolution by selection of adaptive ideas has become more important than biological evolution by selection of hereditary traits. Hackers find this idea congenial for tolerably obvious reasons.
See also memetic algorithm.
Dawkins is a pretty sharp tool, no matter how many people he pisses off.[/b]

I was curious about Dawkins, so I looked him up:
