My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad

#1 Post by TheConfessor » Thu Jan 24, 2008 2:39 pm

I got this e-mail today, in case anyone's interested. I think the show has potential, if they ever have special celebrity episodes. I saw Osama's son in the news recently. Maybe he could talk his dad into playing against George and Jenna Bush. Imagine the ratings bonanza!

NBC and the producers of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader and The Office begin taping their new game-show, 'My Dad is Better Than Your Dad' this weekend!

The best part about the new show is that the minimum age to attend is 10, making it one of the few television tapings the entire family can attend.

The show has just been announced and so we are offering the chance to request free tickets now while they are still available! The show won't air for another month or two, but begins taping this Saturday, January 25th and finishes Saturday, February 2nd.

In 'My Dad is Better Than Your Dad', sons and daughters are paired with their dads to compete for the chance to win $100,000 on national television! Four teams of dads and kids compete in a series of elimination challenges until one team remains. The last team standing will play for up to $100,000.

All tapings are at Sony Studios in Los Angeles.

I guess it depends on what kind of elimination challenges they use. We've seen family team editions of WWTBAM and Fear Factor and TAR before.

I would watch.

If my dad were younger, I would compete.
