They have been a little better this year..about 50-50 good to bad in NUMBER of contestants shown, but the bad ones get more camera TIME per contestant. Still, better than last year.

3 down, 5 to go..then on to Hollywood.

I notice the ratio is indeed better than previously.

Didn't it used to be six rejects shows - is it eight now? Yikes.

So far, the ratings have been down a bit, so maybe we won't have to endure TEN next year.

Simon seems different this season.

I guess it could be a different slant while editing, but who knows.

There have been other Star Search contestants before, so it's not a big problem.

After last season they may feel they need to try harder for better singers.
