Need help in setting up a new board.

#1 Post by rayxtwo » Sun Jan 20, 2008 10:43 pm

I'm wanting to set up a board like this one for local poker players here in St. Louis to talk about poker and maybe bring some new players to my games. I'm not very tech savvy, so I was wondering if one of you could walk me through the steps in setting it up. I won't be able to set this up till Thursday morning, so if someone could just send me a PM on what I have to do, it would be great. I want to have about four different topics for people to post to, just like this one as well.

If I need a lot of space on my computer, I have an external hard drive with about 120 GB of empty space, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks in advance,

Ray

I was just wondering if anyone was going to be able to give me a hand setting this thing up.

You might try sending a private message to tubadave, who put this site together.

I did. I'm thinking he missed my IM or hasn't been on the board and didn't see this post. That's why I was hoping someone else who knew how to do it could help

Dave's kinda in and out, so he probably hasn't seen it yet.

BobJuch set up a Bored like this, so he'd probably be able to help too...

Not really, I used a hosting site and just configured the options.
