I was just thinking that that would be the perfect pose for ES when the Westboro Babtists Church Whack Jobs are passing by.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

It may not have been there when you looked, I had to edit it twice because the tags messed up. After the first edit, I forgot to put "Yaz" back in the spoiler, so that may have been when you saw it....

Ha, that's the first thing I wondered, since I didn't remember seeing it, but it's in my quote of you. So, unless admins quotes are magically fixed when they edit or you 'fixed' my post, then it was already there, I'm just not real observant.....

The quote "snapshot" isn't taken until you hit the button, so I'm guessing I edited it back in between you viewing the post and hitting Quote....

I just threw out the brochure touting the wonders of the 1998 Toyota Sienna. They left out "And these brakes actually work!" so I figured the other features must be outdated, too........

One of the old newspapers I was going through had a headline that the 1989 Toyota Camry was the most frequently stolen car....

Hey, they weren't stolen! They just rolled away.....

We are the Bizarro Mecca, where all the workers are American, but most of the shoppers are foreigners....

I seperated some of the stuff into 2 bowls, 1 milk crate, an Xtra box, and just threw the rest of the junk back in the original boxes. I found I have about 473289733 keychains and pin-on buttons, and countless old ID's and other assorted plastic cards, some of once belonged to strangers....
