Here's an article about Lisa's appearance.

http://blogs.courant.com/roger_catlin_t ... aan-w.html
Lisa Smith, 46, was in the hot seat with two of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," Dina Manzo and Jaqueline Laurita, who were able to help answer some of her questions, some of which were related to the Bravo series.

Those questions were certainly more easily answered than those regarding, say, 20th Century World History.
For those three, perhaps.

I wonder if the question writers wrote "near the beginning of World War I" when I would have written "during World War I" to sidestep the issue of this event happening two years before America's entry into that war? Not that the phrasing made a difference to Lisa, Dina and Jacqueline, I guess.

She is NeNe Leakes. I don't think she plays basketball.

Since yesterday's NeNe question was also about some charity event, I wonder if that's all she does on the show? I suspect there's something a little more "exciting" than that. :P

And just how does Marley know her last name?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Highly unfair to the contestants on the first four days, who had only one helper.

No clue. And since neither of the helpers were of any help, I would've given this to the audience.

No, Andy. The gayest man in America is a toss-up between Mario Cantone and Ross Matthews.

And TPTB was shocked, shocked that it was happening!

Even though they never said it was against the rules.

Here's an article about Lisa's appearance, dated "Saturday, 27 February 2010 06:14" but promising that she will appear "tomorrow, Friday, February 26". Maybe their web site has a tape delay? :P

http://www.acorn-online.com/joomla15/nc ... lenge.html
It was a curious e-mail promotion from the show in Smith’s inbox that led her to apply. She simply filled out her information and sent it back in.

“In the body of the e-mail it said they were looking for a ‘real housewife,’” Smith told the Advertiser this week. “I didn’t really understand what it meant at the time, but it was clear there was some kind of housewife component.”

Within moments of responding to the e-mail, she received a confirmation to come into the city and audition for the show.
An e-mail solicitation for "real housewives"? Like none of them have ever auditioned for the show on their own volition?
Before arriving on filming day for “Millionaire,” contestants received an e-mail explaining the episode was a joint promotion with Bravo TV. Smith said she had caught “The Real Housewives” series a few times.

“I suspected some of the questions might have to do with “The Real Housewives” show, so I started watching in earnest once I knew it was the theme of the program,” Smith said.
But what about her being a "real fan" of the series?
