At least for American authors. American minority (sex/race/religion/pick 'em) and foreign poets and authors have been the popular study subjects for years, at least in elhi.

My 90-year-old mom told me that she knew this one when they showed it as the preview question. I don't think she wants to try out for the show, though.

I'm not sure when Jeet came to America, but he may have not studied American poets much. I'm not a poetry fan at all so wouldn't been able to choose between B, C, or D.

I think he came to the states pretty young, if I had to guess as an infant. No inside info just a feeling.

I don't think I could walk at 10k even without a clue [readying himself for snarky comments.] If I hadn't known I would have probably gone with the expert hoping to get it right and get some good questions at the 15k and 25k levels, but prepared to fall to 5k. But for a 18 year old college kid losing 5k may be tough but even winning 5k is found money.
Not $100,000 found money like BobJ and his "legitimate business man" who I like to call Fat Tony, but nice nonetheless.
