Kate: OK. Stephanie, I’ve never heard these terms before.

Stephanie: I’m thinking the first one has to do with something that’s circular and maybe supra with half-circular. I don’t know what aural means.

Kate: Aural is like an aura right? Like, it’s usually a space term.

Stephanie: I was thinking maybe headphones? Um, the way they have different shapes. Some of them go around your ears and some just kind of hang there.

Kate: Right. Oh, maybe could aural also refer to hearing?

Stephanie: Maybe it refers to audio?

Kate: That’s a good guess. You know what? I think that’s a better guess. Let’s say “C. Headphones.”

Has it been that long since Jenner competed? I guess it has. Man, do I feel old.

There you go feeding lb straight lines.

I was thinking this was a easy question, but if they ask me "Olympics track and field champion Bruce Jenner has a son who appears on what MTV show" I'd be toast.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Too bad she couldn't associate mug shots with people who are in jail. She might have been able to save ATA for the $10K question.

EZ stack for me-I remember Bruce Jenner on Wheaties boxes-my dad ate Wheaties for breakfast nearly every day. (I know, I'm dating myself!)
I'm just a game show nerd.

I wonder if any of these guys dared to 'moon' the cops who arrested them:

Here's a short article about Stephanie's appearance. The only thing we might not have heard on the show is this:
Ferreria had kept her appearance on the "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire" a secret from everyone, including her professors.

Does Stephanie normally wear glasses, that she didn't want to wear on TV? She seemed to be leaning forward to stare at her monitor more intently than most contestants.

I vaguely remember her with glasses in the green room but I'm not sure maybe Gordon remembers.

Be happy I remember what you looked like! Most of everything that happened in the green room is literally and figuratively a blur.

I do recall that the monitor was not angled all that well, but that may have been because I'm tall and the woman before me in the Hot Seat was short. I could read it well enough, so I didn't even think of asking if it could be adjusted.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Bruce Jenner also appears on the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians on the E! cable network. He's married to Kris, the mother of the Kardashian girls. So a young TV viewer could get this question right without knowing anything about sports.

Well, even if they happened to watch this obscure cable reality show, they'd have to remember about Bruce being introduced as a gold medal winner in the decathlon and then they'd have to know that decathlon consists of track & field events. So that's two things about sports they'd have to know, right there!
