I'm glad it's working and I hope you're feeling better.

Excellent news indeed. :D

It doesn't take an endocrinologist to know that your numbers were way too high and now they're almost back to the levels of last spring.

Hurray! I love it when stuff works like it's supposed to.

I'm no endocrinologist, but this sounds like an improvement in your health, which is always good news. Congrats!

Glad to see the numbers are better.

Don't be tempted to stop your medication unless you get directions from your doctor. Relapses often happen if you come off Tapazole too soon.

Nope, not gonna do that! We will still do a monthly monitoring of levels with my regular GP, and then I'll go back to the endocrin in 6 months. He said that at that time, if they are still good, he'll cut the dosage, probably to 2.5.

What I liked, and we laughed, is when he said....I'm not going to see you anymore, because you're not sick enough...

I like that kind of brush off

This was thyroid, right.

SWMBO has just had to have her medication adjusted again.

If you, in the next several years, have ailments you can't seem to account for, be sure to have those thyroid levels checked again.

The array of symptoms which have manifested themselves, then later turned out to be offshoots of the hypothyroidism in her, is truly amazing.
