I am so sorry for your loss.
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Re: Bad news
My condolences. My mother lost her sister and mother within a few months, and then my father within the next year. She spent a solid 2 years taking care of dying family.geoffil wrote:My husband's mother passed away last night. She had kidney failure and refused dialysis. She made her choice and her doctors respected it. My husband has lost his mom and sister in just 5 years.
Her other sister died just this past year, after being in long-term care for severla years after a series of strokes and seizures.

I'm so sorry to hear that. My condolences to your family.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
