Ouch!

I'm guessing that a bunch of the audience confused Ravenwood with Ravenclaw, which would explain the strong vote for Harry Potter, but where did the votes for Shrek come from?

Hmmmm. I think the writers have a fascination with Indiana Jones.

My accelerated Spanish class in my senior year of high school paid off. We learned that Mexico, just like America, is known as the United States.

I was gonna take a shot at this-

Today’s ATE is author of the book “The Good Enough Mother: The Perfectly Imperfect Book of Parenting,” Rene Syler.

-with some crack about, "Great. Another 'expert'. "

Then I read this-

Rene eliminates A through C and then says since Jill Biden is Dr. Biden she believes that a community college professor is the correct answer.

-and I thought, you know, that's exactly how you'd want an Expert to do it if they don't know the answer. Well done, Rene. Maybe I'll check out your book.

Bonus fact: Syler is also another of the parade-o'-journalist-experts, having appeared on The Early Show for about 4 years.

-M

Here's an article about Tiffany's appearance.

http://www.thestarpress.com/article/201 ... LE/1190302
What will she do with the money?

"It cost so much to get there that we are breaking even after taxes," she responded. "We are planning a beach vacation this summer, though. The kids have never seen the ocean and their vote is Disney World."
I guess she's lucky TPTB raised the first safe haven from $1K to $5K. But breaking even? Did the whole family fly in from Indiana?

BTW, Tiffany, you can't see the ocean from Disney World.
If given the chance again, Muncie resident Tiffany Smoot said she would definitely make another appearance on the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire show.
That's nice. No encouragement for everyone else to try out, because it's worth it?

Too bad. I was hoping for a Delaware Countian (even though she is originally from Greene County) to do well. From the transcript I was hopeful until she ran into trouble with the Legos. After that I was not optimistic.

Sounds like she had fun. Good for her.

If I ever get in the HS, here's a $1M question that I'd like:
Before Dr. Belloq opened the Lost Ark, he recited an incantation in what language?
A. Latin
B. Greek
C. Hebrew
D. Aramiac
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$25K What is the English translation of Mexico’s official name?

D. United Kingdom of Mexico
Mexico has states like the U.S. and Germany, so B and C make the most sense.
