15K:

That she meant to double dip (& she wasn't just saying that, she really looked stunned that she didn't get a 2nd choice of answer) & forgot to ask for it was really really sad. To me, a clock-hater, anyway.

I did not have a clue myself, making me personally think this question was way underrated.

Good thing Pea isn't around, or she'd have to chide Kiran for pulling an Ogi!

Will Meredith give Kiran credit for getting the right answer here, even though it was a "total guess"?

It's sad that Dottie failed to use the DD that she intended to use here. I wonder if that error might have been avoided, if she hadn't been under the pressure of TDC?

"For the love of God, Montressor!!!"

OK, I'm going to rant a little here about this week's "expert". All she has done is to first ask what the contestant thinks and then go along with that answer. That is NOT how the ATE lifeline is supposed to work, and I wish I could reach through the TV screen and give Kiran a dope slap.

But...but...but she's a CNN anchor. Isn't that worth more than some Google PAF?

And she's always so sincere when she says she hopes the contestant gets this right, after she offers her guess. :|

My photographic memory came into play once again. I actually had to read this story in my freshman English class in high school.

Hmmm. The version I read didn't have any photographs...

The textbooks we had had illustrations. I vividly remember the illustration of Montresor building a brick wall, trapping Fortunato inside the catacomb.

It's not a photograph, but it'll have to do.
