Did they actually spell choice D like this? I don't get the joke if they did.

Seems like maybe it should be "The Perdues".

Well, he's a WE® but not a WE/WE® at least.

And since he used his PAF, no problems with changing over for the next contestant. (I thought they might not have a carryover).

Nihil obstat®.

They actually did. Maybe they thought Boilermakers would really enjoy chick flicks.

Only after they drank a few.

Seems unlikely.

Universities over 10,000 students with the highest male-to-female ratio. Stat given is percentage male:

1. Embry Riddle Aeronautical University 0.7969
2. Georgia Institute of Technology 0.7325
3. Rochester Institute of Technology 0.6848
4. Massachusetts Institute of Technology 0.6611
5. Central Texas College 0.6585
6. Santiago Canyon College 0.658
7. Carnegie Mellon University 0.6324
8. Purdue University - Main Campus 0.5891
9. Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University 0.5882
10. Utah Valley State College 0.5804

Purdue is easily the largest university on that list with 40,000 students at the West Lafayette campus. Va Tech is next biggest with 28,000.

They did indeed spell it that way- I stopped the tape to be sure.

I think I just got the joke. Perdue is a major chicken processing company, run by three generations of the Perdue family. So the joke is that a family that processes chickens would enjoy "chick flicks."

When I was on Super Millionaire, I asked my boss for a couple of days off from work. He told me to let Regis know that he went to Purdue. My AP advised me to make a joke out of it. I was going to mention it to Regis when we chatted. Then, after I won a lot of money, I would say to the camera: "Listen to this, boss! Go Fighting Irish! Beat those Boilermakers!" Alas, I never got the chance.

I'm sure that's the joke that was intended.

Spelling FAIL.
