#1 Post by BBTranscriptTeam » Thu Dec 17, 2009 12:29 am

Marcus Devine
Little Rock, AR
Environmental Lawyer

Meredith asks Marcus what inspired him to study law. Marcus admits that it was his love of the "L.A. Law" TV show.

Marcus's wife Alison is in the relationship seat - she's a cardiologist so this is "one smart family."

Marcus and Alison were in NY for a family vacation that suddenly became devoted to getting on Millionaire, he auditioned and made it. When he got the callback to appear, he was in a public bathroom so he couldn't show how excited he was. Meredith asked him to express that excitement now, he gives a mild "yes!" which Meredith is unsatisfied with, so he gives a slightly-less-mild "WHOO!"

So he became dedicated to getting on the show after walking by the audition line by happenstance.

You're assuming the contestant knows where all the other rivers are located?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

It's too bad that Linda's episode aired a week after Marcus taped; he could have saved himself a lifeline!
