15K: OK, the author's been doing televised promos for his latest Cross book. (Don't know if I'd have seen them before the show taped, but I'm "playing" now.) So I know the author is a "he". I'm pretty sure its Patterson, but pretty is not enough. 50/50 would cement it, but so might ATA here. ATA

25K: No idea. PAF. Since I'd still have that option at this time of year.
