#1 Post by BBTranscriptTeam » Thu Dec 03, 2009 7:18 pm

Guest Host: Regis Philbin

Tricia Pimental
Ocala, FL

Tricia has lived practically everywhere. She was born in Brooklyn. Over the years, she worked at the Playboy Club in Los Angeles, which she calls the best job she ever had. She got to do all kinds of things, including being a Backgammon Bunny. Then she was on the set of The Odd Couple when Tony Randall came up to her and said "You have a college degree. You ought to do something with your brains." Not long after that, she became a legal secretary. Now, she's married, in Ocala, with three children and two grandchildren.

Not only a hook about being a Bunny, but a celebrity anecdote to explain how she stopped being one!

Thank you transcribers. The local storm knocked my power out for minute, & I thought I had everything fixed in the 2 seconds before I had to take off for work, but obvously I did not.

A grandma former Bunny, huh? Kinda glad I don't have the visuals on this one.

Oops I will get the visuals if the setup works today, because she carries over.

so far so good

There's a photo in the article I linked to yesterday. It's still easy to picture her as a Bunny.

She's a former Where Else®, and being a former Playboy Bunny could qualify her for "former What Else®" status, as well.

Definitely. Besides mentioning that anecdote about meeting Tony Randall on the set of The Odd Couple, I found that she has her own web site, where she says:
A member of the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA for over 40 years, Tricia studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles, acting on both stage and screen, also enjoying parts on such television series as Santa Barbara, Sisters, and Seinfeld.

Isn't there a scene from "Airplane" illustrating this?

I dunno but I can't wait for the transcripts - we lost power for about 90 minutes right before the show started.

Friday should have been Jeemie's turn.

Is he out of town or something?

I found Friday's show interesting because of a pretty good "teeter on the edge" moment for this contestant. (
what happened...
she was gonna walk away, but then had a second thought before saying "final" and managed to get the question answered just as the clock ran out
) It almost felt like the audience influenced her redemption, but I listened closely and heard no signs of that. I think something just clicked and she managed to snatch victory from defeat at the very last moment.

If necessary, I will transcribe... Jeemie?
