That's what Natalie's husband wants for his birthday. The one that makes the single serve.
His birthday is December 15th. I hope BB&B carry them as I have coupons in tow.

Crap, now I can only post 11 times in December......
Yes, if you read my post earlier in this thread when I first mentioned them, I was talking to the lady at BB&B about needing an unbreakable French Press and she was telling me about her Keurig's and how it was all that and a bag.
I think all of them are single serve. They have the mini ones that you have to refill every time all the way up to the big ones with adjustable cup size and a big tank and and a programmable LCD display and whatnot. BB&B lady told me that the newer ones called "Quiet Brew" are the best and the other ones are pretty noisy, not that it really matters to me. I don't know if the little ones come with the reusable K cup, but they sell them separately. BB&B also has a huge selection of the K cup coffees and hot chocolates.
Screw you guys, I'm going home.

Natalie mentioned he wants a reusable filter so he can use his own coffee and not those little pod things.
Is it cheaper at Costco, cause these gadgets are not exactly cheap.

Wow, Sears' Super Duper Price is the same as BB&B regular price (before coupons!). Kiki, if you're looking at the link Luuucy gave, those little minis are 89.99 b/c at BB&B but they only make one cup per water fill and take 3 minutes. The bigger ones only take 1 minute!
It was so sweet of you to post the link! Now that you've gotten an eyeful, are you jonesing for a Keurig of your own? Check out the schmancy one at BB&B! (It's $30 cheaper at Costco and includes the reusable cup and 70 some K cups as well)

Please ask him if he is not using the K-cups, what is the point of the system? Might as well just get a nice coffeemaker, yes?

BB&B keeps adding reasons to shop there. How crappy of Sears to have such a terrible price listed as their sale price.
The speed factor of the Keurig would be a huge selling point for me. I noticed in the reviews on the Sears site two people mentioned they didn't like the reusable filter. I have a reusable filter on the Black & Decker I bought for work. It hasn't given me any issues in the year since I've had it.

Do you find that the coffee itself is superior to the regular "single cup/fast brew" machines? I am forever in search of percolated coffee taste without dragging out my grandma's big old silver percolator and waiting 45 minutes for coffee. Although I don't expect I'll ever find that, I'd like to come closer than my previous attempts.
Screw you guys, I'm going home.

I dunno unless he just wants to make the one cup at a time. Natalie is not a coffee drinker. I find myself
in the same situation as the only coffee drinker in the house, but the French Press works well for me.

I've seen the hot chocolate at BB&B, I assume they have the tea as well.

To me, not having the reusable cup would be a deal breaker. As I mentioned before, my Melitta is now a rather large paperweight since I can't find the coffee pods for it anymore. I'm not saying I'd never use the ready made cups, depends on if I could get a good deal price wise. I'd probably use them mostly when I just want a quick cup NOW sometime during the day. My morning one I'd just prepare the cup the night before.
The major selling point to me is coffee in a minute at any time. My past single cup makers take 3-5 minutes from the time I turn it on until the coffee stops dripping and the French Press takes about 10 minutes from start to finish.
Plus I hate messing with all the grounds. Using either disposable cups or just dumping the reusable one is a major pro rather than messing with filters or rinsing out the FP.
Screw you guys, I'm going home.

I'll have to check out the reviews there. I've read reviews all over the place and never have I seen so many 4-5 star reviews. Most of the bad ones complained about the price of the K cups or it being noisy or the coffee isn't hot enough (the one I'm looking at is supposedly quiet and has a temperature control), but I haven't seen anything negative about the reusable filter (that I remember, anyway).
Screw you guys, I'm going home.

I hope he uses them, as I ordered the one from Costco at $149.99 with no shipping and the free
filter and the 72 K-cups. It was cheaper than the one at BB&B even with a 20% off coupon as I
would have had to add the $15 filter to the cost of the coffee maker.
Maybe he'll find out he really like them once he starts using them. I don't know if you can buy them
at regular grocery stores or not. I suppose BB&B has them or maybe Sams does as well.

I'm not the one to ask for this. I don't care for Starbucks and the coffees tend more to Starbucks than the drip makers I was used. That may be more of a feature than a bug for everyone else.
My preferences are.for.milder coffee.

See I found a mini percolator that looks just like my grandmother's old silver one but only makes 2-4 cups.
It is super fast and makes hot, hot coffee!! The only draw back is the clean up, but it's not all that bad. I use
it about half the time and I can get it ready the night before and all I have to do it plug it in when I get up.
I haven't had it but a couple of months and I have bought it at BB&B, but I'm not 100% sure of that.
It was way cheaper than a Kuerig too.

Walgreen's has waitresses?
They did when they had restaurants or "grills" (not grillz). I don't know if they have any left or not.
Walgreen's restaurants are famous!
The malted milkshake was invented by a Walgreen's soda jerk named Pops Coulson! I also believe (but can't swear to it) that Walgreen's came up with the Windy City.
Walgreen's invented the patty melt! Well, I don't know if they invented putting a hamburger patty on rye bread, but they came up with the name. Used to be that only Walgreens could capitalize Patty Melt. All other restaurants had to go lower case unless they paid Chuck's people, but I don't know if that's still true.
So, next time you're enjoying a patty melt and a malt, give a little salute to the glory that was Walgreen's.....

I love my Flavia. Their Dove hot chocolate is addicting. I almost always use it to make cappuccino. I don't know of any other single-serve that makes cappuccino.
