OK up to the last question he got. I'd start by asking the audience. I studied German, not French.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Based on what I'm seeing in these transcripts, I'm really liking this expert. She seems reasonably well-read, and she talks through her answer very thoroughly so that it does not seem like she's throwing guesses. How has she come off, people-who-actually-watch?
In this town, don't we love it now, everbody's waiting for the next surprise!

Some thought that she might have known one as a slam dunk but did a POE talk-through and may not have sold it to the contestant.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

I agree...she's really been able to help the contestants that have called on her more so than other recent "experts". I've watched the show every day this week; she seems eager to help and smarter than the average bear!

$12,500- another "you know it or you don't" question....or else know French. Impossible to reason out otherwise.

Yeah, I didn't like her "Process of Elimination" answer on Monday, but she does seem to be doing her best to recall any relevant data that might help, instead of just saying "I don't know" and giving up. If Ogi gave her a few tips from his experience, she could turn out to be the best celebrity expert they've had.

Cute. If the question is "what's for breakfast?" my answer would always be the same, too.

Well-reasoned and insightful. As I said, Deborah Norville has potential to be very good or very bad.

In America we call it "Freedom Toast", of course.
I know a little French but this one is beyond me, so it's time for a lifeline. Let's start with ATA, and follow up, if necessary, with PAF (or DD depending upon the audience response).

Yeah, we'll see how that works out.

I've never heard of this phrase. I might've guessed wife, but I would've burned a lifeline to be sure. ATA.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$10,000 * The Easter Rising

I'm stumped again. PAF.

I didn't take French in high school. I took Spanish. Fortunately, I knew that the Spanish word "perdido" means "lost".

I think Chris would've been better off saying "pancakes".
