This is the same guy who rushed through his answers yesterday to save time on the clock.

He would have been better served learning some elementary geography rather than rushing his way into $5,000.

On a side note, you're going to see a bunch of ATE's flailing around on pop culture questions like the one that stumped Michael and Tom De Lay.

Too bad the answers aren't lined up in the show the same way they are on the transcripts. I bet not many people even noticed that as the show aired...

I wonder why he resorted to the DD on this one. He seemed pretty sure of his first answer.

He thanked "crime shows" for knowing this. Did anyone else notice (before the transcript) that the four choices spelled the word "icky"?

I'd wager that Eric was either looking at a map or using Google (or both). I'm not surprised the audience didn't know this one.

I have no idea, so it's lifeline time. Let's hope ATA will come through; if not, it's PAF time.

Well, except that on the show, it would have appeared like this:

C) K D) Y

10K: Think this is pretty hard, considering the size of both NM & NY. Double dip myself.

12.5: If it was me yelling out the answers before the choices are shown (I realize the contestant can see them before Meredith reads them, or we see them; I think that is true anyway) I'd have yelled out "T". Which wasn't a choice. "Y" is closest.

15K: No idea. PAF my sister, who lived for 30 years in Munich. Hey, at least I knew it wasn't a river in Munich!

25K: No idea. ATA.

Boy, did this guy get a hard buncha questions. At crucial points.

I give him his "fortitude award" for going for it, even though it didn't work.

Well, it's obviously not A or B. I would've Double Dipped, with my first answer being D and my second answer being C.

Never heard of the Spree. PAF.

I don't watch this show. ATA and hope that they have, because I know damn well that Tom DeLay doesn't.
