Yes, it could be...but I just don't think so. I've mailed approx. 270 packages since April, when I starting selling on E-Bay, and only one never arrived. I've also sent something to LB in the mail previously and there was no problem with that package. It's truly a mystery!
Yeah, but remember when I sent my package, and I got confirmation that it was delivered, but then he didn't get it for 2 or 3 days after that? But it did get there, eventually.
I remember. I think your confirmation said that it had been delivered on a Thursday or Friday, but didn't actually arrive until Saturday. LB's package was one of 13 I shipped last Tuesday morning, one of which went to the very same state. The other Illinois package arrived no later than Saturday, because that's when the buyer left feedback. I really don't think the problem is on this end. It's just so weird.

And I still wonder had I not woke up at the precise time the mailman came that day if I would have even gotten it then.....

I'm going to lunch, coming back, and if I don't have 2 things from CT when I show up, I'm going to find out what's going on, dammit!

Confirmed Friday the 19th, actually delivered on Saturday the 20th.....

Not that I remember or anything......

Actually, not the Stratford CT PO. I went there yesterday at lunch and talked to the person at the counter who had processed my package. We used to live across the street from each other. So I went back to her and explained about my package. They both could be held up at the Bridgeport processing area.

I had printed out the pictures I had onto a page and attached my business card for contact info.

I always label my quilts so it actually has a sewn on label with my real name and town and a couple of other things like the month it was finished. If it gets separated from the mailing info, then if someone wanted to, they could find me. And the P.O. has info in case it comes back to them for any reason.

Now all I can do is wait and worry.
It's a quilt that is missing!

Oh NO!

I feel horrible.
Just a small one but....

I put pictures on my Facebook page. LB hasn't seen it yet, he says he want to wait to go see it.
I'm not on Facebook, but I would like to see the quilt also. Would someone be able to e-mail or PM me with a link, please?

I will email them to you, and anyone else who wants to see.

No packages in the mail again....

I went down to the post office and told them the sad story. The lady went back to see if anythign was being held for me, but alas. She made the "D'oh!" face when I answered her question about whether either was sent with delivery confirmation. So, I continue to wait.....

One possible positive thing was I used the opportunity to take the stack of mail I've piled up from the past residents here down to have their nuisance mail stopped. We'll see how that goes....

Sorry girls, but I'm as broken up about this as you two are.....

Oh no! I was 90% sure that the packages would be at your post office. I really hope they were not stolen. Maybe they were delivered to one of your neighbors by mistake. Just because a neighbor hasn't shown up with the missing packages doesn't mean they don't have them. My neighbor in FL. had a package of mine for 3 weeks before telling me about it! I'm sorry about this whole thing, but I will remain hopeful that the packages surface at some point. I'm sure you'll let us know when they do.

Have you thought about asking your neighbors about it? Could be on their front porch and they don't even know it. I never use my front door and things have been left there for days without me knowing about it.
