Re: LB!
I am still up because..... well, I'm still up. I'd have probably gone to bed by now if I wasn't scouring Guns & Roses images on Google.....
Mail won't be here for at least another hour. Not sure if I'll still be up or not.....

Re: LB!
Could you at least leave them a note explaining there are 2 packages that are missing?

kay. I'm so curious. I think it's just too much of a coincidence, since there are 2 missing packages. I am hoping that they are being held at the post office for whatever reason.

If it is stuck in the Post Office somehow, it is recoverable. At least in theory.

I don't know the back story and I know that when 2 packages, sent from different places both don't arrive in the expected time - it probably is not the post office's problem. One package - maybe..... two - probably not.christie1111 wrote:That is my biggest fear.peacock2121 wrote:His neighbors stole them.Hotseat Or Bust! wrote: No, but I think we can assume it means our packages still haven't arrived. I wonder if the mailman would remember delivering any packages?
I think mine would.

Mine would as well. Some locales have a different postal carrier each day. Does lb know about his?christie1111 wrote:I wonder if the mailman would remember delivering any packages?

Re: LB!
Actually, both packages were sent from the same place, probably the exact same post office even, as Christie and I live in the same town as each other. Christie's package was sent priority mail, about a week and a half ago. My package was sent first class mail 8 days ago. Both are mysteriously MIA.peacock2121 wrote:I don't know the back story and I know that when 2 packages, sent from different places both don't arrive in the expected time - it probably is not the post office's problem. Yes, LB knows about it. My package was actually meant to be a surprise, but when a certain amount of time had passed and I didn't hear anything from LB, I told him that I had sent him something in the mail. He still doesn't know what it is though!!peacock2121 wrote:Mine would as well. Some locales have a different postal carrier each day. So... it could be a problem on your post office's end! Oh. I don't think he does, but I'm not sure. I think LB is usually asleep when his mail is delivered.peacock2121 wrote:I actually meant did lb know his carrier - like could he ask? Yes, it could be...but I just don't think so. I've mailed approx. 270 packages since April, when I starting selling on E-Bay, and only one never arrived. I've also sent something to LB in the mail previously and there was no problem with that package. It's truly a mystery!peacock2121 wrote:So... it could be a problem on your post office's end! Re: LB!
Actually, not the Stratford CT PO. I went there yesterday at lunch and talked to the person at the counter who had processed my package. We used to live across the street from each other. So I went back to her and explained about my package. They both could be held up at the Bridgeport processing area.peacock2121 wrote:So... it could be a problem on your post office's end! I had printed out the pictures I had onto a page and attached my business card for contact info.
I always label my quilts so it actually has a sewn on label with my real name and town and a couple of other things like the month it was finished. If it gets separated from the mailing info, then if someone wanted to, they could find me. And the P.O. has info in case it comes back to them for any reason.
Now all I can do is wait and worry.

Yeah, but remember when I sent my package, and I got confirmation that it was delivered, but then he didn't get it for 2 or 3 days after that?
