I should print and frame this, because it's the last day of the month that I will be in first place. Ha!

I can't believe I managed to beat the "if you have a 50/50 chance, there's a 90% chance you'll pick the wrong one" maxim (I think I heard that first from KT).

So, here's a question for you: I remembered that one of the toughest things as time went on when I did LS was the matching day of the week. When I saw yesterday that Mondays were going to be matching up day, I thought about looking at my LS days (yes, I still have it! I found it when I was transferring stuff off of my old computer a few weeks ago) to see what matches I came up with and how it would be funny if you ended up doing some of the same ones. Would this be considered cheating?

Not at all! You can look at anything you want, so long as you're not actually answering a game at the time....

I seem to recall you were the one who once did the LS game of nothing but instrumental songs. That's going to be hard to ever top....

Fishie becomes the fourth different leader already in just the first 6 games, and the Top 6 are separated by just 11 points! And right behind that group is the hard charging Nelly, who would probably be leading if he had not missed the first game. If the race is even halfway as competetive come the end of February, it will be an exciting finish....

Fanny makes up some ground on TBone, and mrkelley takes over third from starfish. The Top 4 continue to separate themselves from the rest of the pack, and we may be looking at our contenders for the season's title. But there's still a long way to go and anything can happen.....

We have reached the 1/3 mark of the season, and the race among the Top 4 is still pretty tight, with Nelly slowly but surely inching his way back up into the pack, overcoming missing Game 1. Of course, what everyone really wants to knwo is whether Marley will be able to hang on to his coveted spot in the basement.....

With TBone's epic stumble on a game out of his wheelhouse, fanny takes the first commanding lead of the season, and mrkelley takes advantage to jump into second place. Of course, a 10 point lead is still nothing at this point in the game, but fanny's been a force in pretty much all genres. Can she maintain the lead.....?

Oh, I could give you the genres in which I'm clueless. Or do whatever traininvain did, cause I got the high hard one most days in that one. As I've said a few times, the themes and categories help a lot (King of Pain the other day was a total guess, I just put it down because "king" was in the first line and pain rhymed. Ha!), so thanks for that, even though I know from experience it's tougher to maintain your structure than just doing random songs.

PS I'm going to blow today. After I spend the day fruitlessly trying to think of songs with a particular word in them. Ha!
