Somebody should have told them that those Male Enhancement Supplements are not really supposed to work.
FDA: Chinese Dietary Supplements Contain Viagra

Monday, December 31, 2007

Dietary supplements marketed to provide male sexual enhancement contain undeclared erectile dysfunction drugs putting users at risk, the Food and Drug Administration says.

The agency advised consumers to stay away from Shangai Chaojimengnan supplements sold under the names Super Shangai, Strong Testis, Shangai Ultra, Shangai Ultra X, Lady Shangai and Shangai Regular. The Chinese-made supplements are packaged and distributed by Shangai Distributor Inc. of Puerto Rico.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Emma and I were bargain shopping yesterday. At Sam's Club we found clearance cookies packed in a beautifully decorated pitcher that would match my kitchen. I checked the bottom and saw that the pitcher was made in China and even though it was pretty and cheap, I decided not to buy it. Who knows how much lead or 1-4 butanediol is in it.

Speaking of which, Jeff has been doing experiments on the Aqua Dots and found that there was a lot more 1-4 butanediol in them than he expected.

Exactly what kinds of experiments has he been performing on y... I mean, what kinds of experiments has he been performing?

I don't need GHB, a glass of wine usually makes me more susceptible to his charms. :)

Jeff has been working with a chemist to analyze the ingredients of the Aqua Dots, with the intention of getting a paper out of his findings.
