Yeah, like I would know anything about that, but I found this little tidbit I just now noticed on the back of my package of Bowl Fresh tabs to be very informative and hopefully helpful for you parents out there......

See, I would just alternate placement of the tabs in different toilet bowls or restrict toilet-drinking to off weeks. There's no need to go crazy with the rules here.
