That had to have been 15-20 minutes in real time. She just flat out didn't know anything. Tons of moaning about the question edited out. She didn't know that the 30 seconds for Phone a Friend wasn't thinking time and you answer after; that you have to answer in that time. All that was edited. I was pulling my hair out. I had sympathy for Michael adding the clock after that.

Even without the heads-up, I knew we were in trouble when she complained about the instructions for walking out to the chair being too complex.

She was introduced as the star of the "hit" new ABC show "The Middle." How can a show that has never been broadcast already be a hit? Tonight's cross promotion certainly won't attract any viewers.
