Is this team oriented as usual? I'm watching the Nuggets and doing QOD stuff, so I wouldn't want to drag down the team because I'm easily distracted. Ha!

Distractions are a plus. I'm distracted by my tea water cooking in the microzapper, my doggie searching for crumbs, and the crumbs manufacturer in the form of almond toffee sitting on the table. That stuff should be illegal.

There are 5 rounds. Since I am terrible at self-editing, there are more than the usual 2 questions per round. Total points available will be 'splained in each round. None of the questions are gender specific tonight.

This is my first time, be gentle. Peace on Earth, Good will toward the meister, dontcha know.

5 players so far tonight. We'll wait a few more minutes, then get underway.

YAY! I'm done with scoring for now, so my QOD posts won't be cluttering up the play. Just proofing (and re-proofing and re-proofing) my weekend questions. I think you'll like tomorrows. I'm just saying.

This is the kind of day on which I show how little I know, when I don't have the advantage of writing the questions.

Wel, we'll get underway. If anyone else shows up, we'll add them in. For now, I chose teams by alternating the picks by order of the post to plays:

The Hermies: Sprots, Etaoin, Fantine

The Yukon Corneliuses: Silver and DK and TKO.

First q coming up

We'll take the average score for each team to make it fair.

So it's Silver and Gold? Ha! I will be singing that all night now, thank you.

QUESTION ONE:

CHRISTMAS MOVIES:

You watch 'em every year. Let's see how well you remember the details.
1 point for 1 correct answer, 3 points for 2 correct answers, 5 points for getting all 3 correct.

1-In "It's a Wonderful Life", George Bailey faces imprisonment as a result of Uncle Billy
misplacing a large sum of money. Just how much did Uncle Billy lose?

2-Near the end of "White Christmas", what gift does Betty Haynes (Rosemary Clooney) give
Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby)?

3-In "National Lampoon's European Vacation", what is Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) planning to
get the family with his anticipated Christmas bonus?
