Sounds like what Coach Painter must have said when he looked at the final score last night.

Coujldn't help it -- saw AJ's name in the "Users browsing this forum" list.

My youngest son is home from Purdue for the holidays. He wonders who Wofford is, also.

Wofford is the team that beat Appalachian State that beat Michigan.

Wait, that's football.

Losing to Wofford is pretty bad. Almost as bad as losing to Indiana in football. These are dark, dark days.

Nah. It's a bad loss but I think Painter has Purdue on the right track. We'll have some good wins and some bad losses this year with such a young team but the future looks pretty good.

Wofford is the Terriers. They are cute. How can you not root for the Terriers?

I had another nickname in mind for the latter--Senator Man on Dog.

Notre Dame originally had a terrier mascot. Not their nickname but the official mascot.

That's reason enough.
