Thank you Cindy! I actually enjoyed the excitement my postings generated, but unfortunately it turned very ugly very quickly. I shouldn’t be surprised. Although most of the people working on the book think it’s hilarious (even the women), we all understand that parts of it will be highly controversial.
Despite the fallout, I am very impressed with the other conversations I’ve read and close-knit group of posters on this board. Perhaps if I didn’t spend so much time working on such a divisive book, I could enjoy such a community.
First of all littlebeast13, I strongly suspect that the vast majority of posters on the Millionaire board are more intelligent than I. However from my very first posting it was clear that I was seeking transcript data for the entire month of October. So why is it so hard to believe that I would stay logged in to extract transcript data through the end of October? And why would such an explanation bother you anyway?
I’m just trying to debunk lies that women hold against men in order to counter the accusations that women have regarding succeeded in the business world to the same degree as men due solely to gender discrimination. I feel the relative low participation rates and success that women have experienced on Millionaire provides insight on one of the causes of women’s struggle with the “glass ceiling”. It’s only one of several factors that my book addresses on this matter. If discrimination isn’t the only reason, wouldn’t it behoove you and other women to understand these factors?
For the rest of you, thank you again for your assistance and insight!

REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl. We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-ass man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Because you appeared on the "Users Browsing This Forum" for about 15 minutes on the night I made the post you referred to. Just "staying logged in" doesn't cover that.SOX404Guru wrote:First of all littlebeast13, I strongly suspect that the vast majority of posters on the Millionaire board are more intelligent than I. Also, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels.

Any disease that strikes you personally is a more serious disease.SOX404Guru wrote:Oh I see, you guys saw me on the Jeopardy post.
I wasn’t slamming either message board. I’m just surprised that a show that has been around as long as Jeopardy has doesn’t have more research on it about gender performance. So I have to shell out $600 for a stay-at-home mom to do the research for me.
By the way peacock2121, the primary objective of my book is to save lives by increasing awareness of and funding for heart disease (as I stated earlier). Speaking of Millionaire and Jeopardy, what do the shows have in common other than superior male performance? The hosts of both shows suffer from heart disease (which is what kills 44% of women (even though only 8% of women realize it) compared to just 3.3% from breast cancer (which is what the majority of women believe to be their biggest health risk)).
cindy.wellman and Ritterskoop, never have wiser words been spoken. It’s the behavior from people like peacock that prevents the media from saying anything as controversial as “breast cancer isn’t nearly as serious as heart disease.” This has resulted in the deaths of thousands of men and women each year.
Have a wonderful Christmas all!!!
There are a number of people here, including peacock that have been effected by breast cancer or have family members or friends effected by breast cancer. It killed my grandmother.
Ultimately, the people who do breast cancer awareness spend more of their money on awareness. That more people don't know of the seriousness of heart disease probably doesn't result in the death of anyone because everyone *knows* what they are supposed to do to help prevent heart disease, but knowing isn't the same as doing.
I gotta tell you, given what you have written just on this message board, that $600 is going to be a big fat waste of money. Why should game show performance in specific trivia areas have anything to do with performance at a work place? At least in my work experience, interpersonal skills combined with the skills in the area you were employed in were the biggest factors in who got ahead. Doesn't have much to do with potent potables for $200 Alex.
