Jello Shots

#1 Post by peacock2121 » Sat Dec 15, 2007 6:35 am

So, we are going to this Christmas party tonight.

It's given by the guy who does all of our earth moving projects. He is probably 10 years younger than me. He has a girlfriend around the same age.

She is making Jello Shots - wtf? Isn't that for college kids?

I hope she's encouraging everyone to have designated drivers!

I doubt it - people who serve Jello shots do not think that way, I am sure.

I was in the grocery store yesterday.

I was in the produce aisle.

There was a group of college kids, clearly together, but each with their own cart.

It was a maze to get through them.

One girl had two boxes of dinosaur dixie cups and 20 boxes of Jello in her cart.

That was all she had.

As I pushed my cart past her, I said "I know what you're gonna do."

She gasped and giggled.

They passed me as I was checking out and she said "There she is."

I turned and wagged my finger at her.

She laughed.

the end

We've had parties with Jello shots.

Usually people just do one or two, then they eat and talk and scrapbook and when it's time to go home, nobody is impared.

Just a jiggelo
everywhere I go
people know the part
I'm playing

Paid for every dance
selling each romance
every night some heart
betraying

There will come a day
youth will pass away
then what will they say
about me

When the end comes I know
they'll say just a jiggelo
as life goes on
without me

'Cause I aint got nobody
nobody nobody cares for me
I'm so sad and lonely
sad and lonely sad and lonely
Won't some sweet mama
come and take a chance with me
cause I aint so bad

Get along with me babe,
been singin love songs
All of the time
Even only be, honey
only, only be
Bop bozadee bozadee
bop zitty bop

I ain't got nobody 'cept
love songs in love
Hummala bebhuhla
zeebuhla boobuhla
hummala bebhuhla zeebuhla bop

I ain't got nobody, nobody,
nobody cares for me
Nobody , nobody
I'm so sad and lonely,
sad and lonely,
sad and lonely,
Won't some sweet mama come
and take a chance with me
cause I aint so bad

Get along with me babe,
been singin love songs
All of the time
Even only be, honey
only, only be

I've only had one jello shot and that was at a football tailgate party.
I dint like it...and more than one would have had someone carrying me into the stadium! I have enough trouble walking in without falling as it is, I sure don't need any help from jello shots.

Well, it could be P.T.A. because P.T.A. stands for Part Time Alcoholics.

No Jello shots for me -- can't stand the stuff.

Funny how tastes change -- when I was a kid, I thought that black raspberry Jello with pineapple (use canned pineapple only, not fresh or canned) was the best dessert in the world. Strawberry Jello with cut up bananas was a close second.

It was actually a very nice party. All grown up people, great conversation - especially after I let it slip that I am a democrat - that caused some increase in the speed of speaking that I found entertaining.

The jello shots sat on a table until the host walked around and offered them to people. Very few took one and most of those that did, took one slurp and threw the rest away.

My kinda party - home and in bed by 11:30.

Sounds more like a Republican kinda party to me. And the type I would've attended as well.

See, the two sides can agree!
