Of course, I'm not under suspision for murder, but I could use a few thousand extra bucks...
Could you give Drew a few bucks?

When I think of the name, Drew, I think of the host of "The Price Is Right."Rexer25 wrote:Of course, I'm not under suspision for murder, but I could use a few thousand extra bucks...

"Drew Peterson says a Web site established to raise money for his legal defense will be a test of the American people's generosity."
More like one of their credulity. Like we say in the quality business, once is an accident, twice is a trend.

Stranger things have happened. There was a story a couple years ago about people begging for money online and getting it. So Peterson may do the same thing.gsabc wrote:"Drew Peterson says a Web site established to raise money for his legal defense will be a test of the American people's generosity."

If people can still fall for those e-mail scams and send off their money hoping to get millions, I can believe nearly anything about the credulity of the general populace.earendel wrote:Stranger things have happened. One of the morning shows last week (I forget which one) had a story about an ad placed in a NYC newspaper by a couple asking for donations so they could buy a million dollar upper west side apartment they couldn't afford.
I think they were more or less asking for one or two really rich people to just give it to them, rather than have the money trickle in a little at a time.

Let's think about this another way...if you knew someone only from what they post online, and you find out they've got a web site where they're groveling for money, would you give them something?minimetoo26 wrote:Minor flaws like killing off your wife? And just FTR, I've only been married once, and that lady is still living.

I'd probably give them grief. That's what I'm famous for!Rexer25 wrote: Let's think about this another way...if you knew someone only from what they post online, and you find out they've got a web site where they're groveling for money, would you give them something?

Real answer: I dunno. Depends on too many factors. Right now, I'm saving up for the kidney transplant I know beast is going to need if he doesn't knock it off with the Pepsi addiction....
(J/K, beast. You lose your kidneys, you're on your own!

My husband lost one when he was 8. He has to take care of the remaining one. Luckily, he has 4 siblings in case anything goes wrong...Rexer25 wrote:Sorry, lb, I can't help you either.
