The inspiration can feel free to comment on it; but you missed the boat in "finding" this one. Sheesh, you didn't notice it until almost 8 hours after the avatar change! :?
Right, because we don't play Found It with LB's avatars!! Therefore there is no rush.

Plus, my swine flu kept me in bed until almost 1 today. That's not to be mocked.
So you're saying that you didn't have pesky work obligations to distract you from the rigors of Found It. I'm not sure how that helps you . . .

As a statement of fact that is demonstrably false, since yours truly has, in fact, engaged in the delightful parlor game of "Found It" with LB's avatars . . .

Everything's evolving.

Previously, nobody around here changed avatars with anything like the frequency that uly does. Now that we're playing Found It, some are feeling the urge to do so.

Particularly when LB can display some of ES's new artwork! 8)

I just did it this morning, silly! In this very thread, even!

In addition, I recently played "Found It" when Nelly briefly changed his avatar to Wheel of Fortune (and I think Ed McMahon then claimed the Found It when, shortly thereafter, Nelly's avatar morphed to its current incarnation of Johnny Carson).

So I think this is all one big faux misunderstanding . . .

Sorry, I read that to mean you thought I had done it!

Well you are not following the implied rules of the game, so you doing it doesn't count...since you're only playing some fake variant of found it, not the real game. To put it in a context people here might understand, you're playing the inferior syndie bam version of found it, which will never be recognized by all knowing experts to be a real and credible game...while I am playing the prime time/phone game/ring of fire version of found it, which everyone knows to be way better and more important.

Well, that makes perfect sense, now that you've explained--hey, wait a minute! I think you're being sarcastic here! :P

It's true that, in the beginning, Found It was like a team of scientists observing an animal in its natural habitat, making note of its behavior without interfering. It's not so objective any more, when the subject(s) are aware of being observed and are playing to their audience!

So are you saying you wouldn't have lost out on this morning's "Found It" opportunity if you had been able to audition for it and it wasn't just based on speed?

This made me laugh -- actually laugh -- out loud -- actually loud enough to wake up Annie.

I do not mean in a three-letter abbreviation sort of way, either.

Actually.

Apart from most of the BBs and Mr. Mozart, Annie thinks two-footers are goofy, and she wouldn't try to offer advice that she doesn't think would be heard.

I haven't told her that Mr. Mozart and perhaps some BBs have been known to be goofy, too. I think she's happier by holding on to a few illusions.

She has, repeatedly. She thinks Tom Hulce, in collaboration with the screenwriter(s), took artistic license to perform character assassination on Mr. Mozart's true and undoubtedly admirable character. She believes that he could not have written such glorious music if he'd been a jerk.

That's not a direct quote. I'm paraphrasing. She included a lot of Grrrrrrs.

You would think that her familiarity with ES would have clued her in to the fact that artistic geniuses can indeed be somewhat.... um.... unsavory......

I don't think I've ever heard her use the phrase "artistic genius" to refer to ES. Annie thinks he draws funny pictures. That's not exactly the same thing.
