Nope. I've heard of the chain, but the only one I can remember seeing is in Indianapolis, which is at least a three hour drive from here.

I started shopping at Trader Joes regularly after the last Grocery Workers strike. Their meat is very high quality and they have "quirky foods." They sell a Middle Eastern Feast lunch that Maddie likes with falafel and hummous. They also sell sushi and have a great selection of good cheeses.

We have a Trader Joe's about five miles up the road, but I go there only a couple of time a year. The Stop and Shop I regularly go to has a great deli department including real sushi and several type of hummus.

Ooh. I love Frango mints. My mother used to make my friends crazy because I am under standing parental orders to bring home a box if I am within reasonable distance of Chicago. This meant that all excursions would be interrupted by me forgetting until the last possible second and then dragging them to Marshall Field's. Now you can purchase them online, which reminds me, I'd best go place that order for my mom's Christmas box o' Frango.

The closest Trader Joes to me is in Danbury Connecticut - about an hour away. I have a friend who says it's so worth the trip that she goes every 3 weeks.

I just might start going as well.
