I bet folks are forgetting that this contest is still going on, with one entry per day allowed through the end of the contest on August 31.
It's a silly, repetitive effort with no real benefit to TPTB at SyndieBAM or at Capital One, but if that's how they insist on running it, persistence is of some advantage.
And if there's anything I know about from my audition record, it's persistence.

I've been entering faithfully everyday. Of course, if it weren't for bad luck......well you know the rest.

I'm still entering, but then, I enter a number of online sweeps daily. Doesn't mean I win anything, or at least I haven't for a while.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I wonder if the check will say WWTBAM or Capital One. While a 1K check would be good from anyone, a BAM check would be better.

Only if it's earned in the Hot Seat.
And then, if it's only for $1K, it's bound to be a disappointment.

Amen, brother.
OTOH, there's nothing that says I can't have both the $1K from Capital One and a much larger check from Valleycrest. Remember, wish BIG!

Well, since this contest ends on Monday, I guess I might as well bring this thread forward one last time.
Day after day, I've been faithfully submitting my entry to this contest. I still don't see what difference doing that makes for TPTB, compared to having people simply enter once.
Nobody's heard a report of anyone winning one of these monthly prizes?

I've been entering regularly from when I first found out about it, no luck for me and I haven't heard of anyone else winning it.

They've actually updated their page (after letting you try to enter):
SORRY!
Online entry in Millionaire's Thousand Dollar Giveaway is now closed.
What new contest will TPTB think of for Season 8?
How about something that lets viewers qualify for the show without jumping through audition hoops?

And despite Pea's bold prediction, I have not won anything. Too bad no one else here did, either. Ah well, such is life.

I am somewhat surprised that no one from here won.
Do they have a list of winners somewhere? I don't care to send in a stamped self addressed envelope.

No. Why would they do something like that?

Well they might not have a list of winners posted on the website, but the part you edited out of his post...about being willing to send a self addressed stamped envelope...you actually can do that.
9. Rules/Winners List Information: To receive a copy of the Official Rules or the Winners List, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Millionaire's One Thousand Dollar Giveaway “Rules” or “Winner List” (specify which), P.O. Box 6611, Burbank, CA 91510. Official Winners List available after September 15, 2009. All requests must be received by November 2, 2009.

Horrible, horrible me--editing kusch's post because
I was only replying to his question.

And they're still claiming there's a "winner's gallery" somewhere.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I'm pretty sure they're calling the people in the video below the heading "winner's gallery" the winners...seeing as they have a ton of shots of Meredith and the Capital One checks...so no necessarily winners of the cash giveaway, but technically Capital One winners anyway.

Not too surprising. There are people whose hobby is entering online sweepstakes. I used to be into that a few years ago. A prize of $1,000 gift cards is one of the better ones available, so I'm sure many people who frequent sweepstakes listings sites would enter it.

Oh boy! Another year of gratuitous clicking on a sweepstakes site every day!
It certainly makes me feel like I'm a part of WWTBAM!

Maybe I can trade in my State of California IOU for their Capital One check. I'll even pay the $1 difference. Yes I was one of the lucky people here in the Golden State to get an IOU for $999 from Guvonoor Aaarnold!
