#1 Post by a1mamacat » Thu Dec 06, 2007 7:07 pm

I'll have to borrow LBs avatar for Big J, for the next few weeks. He will be spending his lunch hour with the custodians at school, cleanin n polishin n sweepin!

Very good consequence.

It fits the crime.

Scared me for a moment. Thought he'd gone off, shaved his head and gotten an earring.

Hope he learns something useful out of the experience. Good luck.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I'll take them. I love those things! Although, as with most things, I liked them better before they 'improved' them.

This sounds like the perfect punishment to me. (If he gives anybody any lip about it, tell him that he may be learning a skill for living. That should shake him up.)

One more thing that nobody has mentioned, Saucy, is that virtually all young men of James' age are under the influence of a powerful substance that can cause all kinds of strange behavior -- early adolescent hormones. Most boys do stupid stuff at the same age, period. Most men seem to forget about or underplay their own stupid stuff because, well, all their buddies were doing stupid stuff at the same time, too.

Saucy, did you ever figure out what to do as discipline at home?
